We evaluate Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) application software.
If you are thinking about moving from your custom developed application

your business requirement and compares it to what is out there off
the shelf today.
During
our COTS Evaluation process
We identify what requirements are met out of the box “plain
vanilla”, We identify what requirements will need minor customization, We identify what requirements will need major customization, We identify what requirements can not be met with this application
at all. We
then identify and layout the next steps that need to happen. (In some
cases, we have written
Requests for Proposals (RFP’s)
to send out to a list of software vendors. In some cases this may
include a
Business Process Re-design/reengineering
effort in order to change the current process to fit the “plain
vanilla” out of the box software
application.)

Gather business requirements and business rules. Lead the effort and
work for each strategic business unit executives to capture the specific
needs of their department. Once the requirements are documented we
can begin the COTS evaluation process.
