Project Management Office Setup

Some of key elements of a formal PMO that we will create for your organization include

Creating policy, procedures and guidelines to be used by the PM’s.
Creating a “story board” so that each business unit will see visually the status of his or her project
      initiative.
Creating a “PM” handbook that each PM will use when running a project initiative.
Provide a template for establishing the PMO budget.
Provide project plan templates in accordance with the SDLC methodology and best practices.
Provide project issue tracking templates that captures daily events related to the project.
Provide project status report templates that report on the project with respect to Red-Yellow-Green.

Provide a limited amount of training in using the various tools (MS Project, Visio and Power Point)
Provide a limited amount of Project Manager training in concepts, methodology, workflow, business rules.
